Could you be part of the Holty Paws family? We are looking for a very special type of person to join us. 

 

What You’ll Do

 

You’ll be involved in all aspects of delivering our dog walking and bespoke pet care services. This will most often be leading groups of up to 4 dogs (maximum) on walks of 1 hour come rain or shine. You will need to pick up and drop off all the dogs at their homes, clean and dry them after their walk, so you’ll need to manage your time efficiently to ensure you keep to the agreed timetable and you must expect your car to get dirty (all Holty Paws dogs travel in harnesses and restraints for their safety and to comply with the law).

Whilst walking, you’ll be exercising the dogs; maintaining an upbeat walking pace, instigating and joining them in play, being very interactive and stimulating the dogs to have the best time ever. Most of all you will need to ensure they are all happy, safe and being respectful of others you may meet.

You may also conduct home visits for 'feed and fuss' for the pets in their own homes.

About You

​

Obviously, you must love animals of all shapes and sizes, looking after them and delivering exceptional service that we have become renowned for.  

​

• Naturally, you must be physically fit and happy to work outdoors in absolutely all weather conditions.

​

• You will need excellent time-keeping skills and have a positive, happy disposition.

​

• We need you to be good at communicating with us via mobile phone and specific apps, as well as confident communicating with animals and understanding their behaviour.

​

• You must have a full driving licence and fully-insured car with up to date tax & MOT.  

​

• You must be honest, reliable and trustworthy and be willing to provide an up to date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. 

​

Unfortunately, we can only consider applicants over the age of 18.

We’ll provide full training and you will shadow an established team member until you are confident to take full responsibility for a group of your own.
